US rebuilds its tariff wall with forced-labor levies on 60 economies
The United States imposed tariffs of 10% to 12.5% on 60 trading partners, covering 99% of its imports, citing their failure to enforce bans on goods produced with forced labor. The tariffs, effective from midnight Friday, replaced a previous 10% universal tariff that expired the same day.
