U.S. slaps 10% tariffs on goods imported from India over issue forced labour
The U.S. imposed 10% tariffs on goods imported from India over forced labor concerns. U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer announced the tariffs under Section 301 of the Trade Act on July 24, a day before existing 10% levies on all countries expired.
