Friends of slain Minnesota Democratic lawmaker say the man who killed her did not erase her legacy

Friends and family of slain Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman stated the killer failed to erase her legacy. Vance Boelter, who killed Hortman and her husband and injured two other lawmakers, pleaded guilty to federal charges and will serve two consecutive life sentences plus 40 years. Victims described lasting trauma and anger during his sentencing hearing.
