Padilla Tells Senate Panel That Altadena Fire Survivors Have Been Left Behind
U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla testified that residents of Altadena, affected by the Eaton Fire 19 months ago, are still awaiting federal long-term recovery funding as the Trump administration has again refused to request it. Padilla addressed the Senate Appropriations Committee during a July 21 hearing on the administration's supplemental funding proposal.
