Man tossed by Yellowstone bison says hitting the ground was the worst part
Carl McDaniel, 65, was attacked by a bison in Yellowstone's Bridge Bay Campground, suffering multiple bone fractures but surviving. The bison, initially appearing non-aggressive, charged and tossed him, with McDaniel describing the landing as the most painful part. Yellowstone reports a few bison attacks annually, including at least two in 2025.
