5 die trying to help struggling swimmer in central Ohio river

Five people died while attempting to rescue a struggling swimmer in the Scioto River near Powell, Ohio. The river was flowing at an unusually high and fast rate during the incident, which began when one adult entered the water for a swim. Authorities recovered two women immediately and three men later, all of whom were pronounced dead.
