Business Insider analyzed the highest-paying jobs in each U.S. state excluding doctors and nurses, finding chief executives and managers as top earners in many states. The study used Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data for occupations with at least 1,000 employees, revealing roles like pilots and flight engineers also ranked highly in several states.
