ICE officers to wear body cameras at traffic stops, White House border czar says
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers will wear body cameras during traffic stops following two fatal shootings in Texas and Maine. White House border czar Tom Homan cited transparency as the reason, while blaming Democrats for blocking body camera funding due to congressional shutdowns and criticisms of ICE. Federal immigration officers have killed six people, including three U.S. citizens, in traffic stops during the second Trump administration.
