Takeaways from the AP-NORC poll of more than 1,000 Jewish Americans

A survey of 1,022 Jewish adults in the U.S. reveals divided opinions on Israel’s military actions in Gaza, with 8 in 10 religiously affiliated Jews deeming Israel’s initial response justified but only half supporting ongoing operations. About 6 in 10 respondents view Jewish prejudice as a serious U.S. problem, and 3 in 10 report experiencing anti-Jewish harassment or violence. Roughly 25% of religiously affiliated Jews and 40% of non-religiously affiliated Jews believe Israel committed genocide in Gaza.
