Takeaways from the AP-NORC poll of more than 1,000 Jewish Americans
A survey of 1,022 Jewish adults in the U.S. reveals divided opinions on Israel's military actions in Gaza, with 8 in 10 religiously affiliated Jews viewing Israel's initial response as justified but only half supporting ongoing operations. Nearly 6 in 10 respondents believe Jewish prejudice is a serious problem in the U.S., and about 3 in 10 report experiencing anti-Jewish harassment or violence in the past year. Roughly 25% of religiously affiliated Jews and 40% of non-religiously affiliated Jews accuse Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
