Police shoot, kill dog after attack at housing complex

Topeka police shot and killed one of two dogs that attacked a pregnant woman at a housing complex, while the other dog was taken into custody. A 6-year-old boy released the dogs during a fight between three individuals, claiming they were defending his mother. The woman sustained serious injuries and underwent surgery, while the dog owner stated the animals were protecting her and her son.
