Chinese man swims 3 hours clutching tyre to check on parents in flooded village
A Chinese man swam three hours through floods in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to check on his parents after torrential rains and dam collapses caused 39 deaths and affected nearly 400,000 residents. The floods, from July 3 to 6, included over 800 mm of precipitation in Qinzhou city.
