Report: Israel orders seizure of more Palestinian land in West Bank
Israeli authorities have ordered the confiscation of 16,577 dunums (4.09 acres) of Palestinian land in the village of Dura al-Qar', near Ramallah and al-Bireh, for military purposes. The order, effective until 2028, targets a 2,076-meter strip around the Beit El settlement, with a 2026 report documenting 40 such orders totaling 611 dunums used for buffer zones, security roads, and military sites.
