Street vendor arrested after alleged illegal alcohol sales at Lake Merritt

A Union City woman was arrested after allegedly selling alcohol without permits at Lake Merritt following a monthlong investigation by the Oakland Police Department and the city's Economic & Workforce Development Department. Officers first contacted her on June 19 as part of the probe into unlicensed mobile alcohol sales.
