Miami-Dade caregiver accused of stealing about $24,000 from Alzheimer’s patient to gamble at casinos
Charlotte Butler, a caregiver for Maxine Dailey, an Alzheimer’s patient, stole approximately $24,000 from Dailey’s bank account to fund her gambling at South Florida casinos. Butler, added as an authorized signer on the account, admitted to withdrawing the funds weekly and did not repay the stolen money.
