Soldier, partner accused of starving baby and dog to death

A Fort Benning soldier and his girlfriend face federal charges after their infant son and a family dog died from starvation. The couple allegedly deprived the child of food and nutrition, leading to his death, and discarded a dead dachshund in their trash while lying to investigators about the pets' conditions.
