Newsom Announces Billions for Transportation Improvements, $257 Million Headed to LA County
Governor Gavin Newsom announced $2.5 billion in state funding for transportation projects, with Los Angeles County receiving $257 million for southwest mobility hubs and Riverside County getting $64 million for Interstate 215 rehabilitation. The funds will support pedestrian, bicyclist, and vehicle street improvements in LA and safety upgrades on a nine-mile stretch of I-215 in Riverside County.
