Mother, 3 others charged after toddler gained access to gun and was shot

A 2-year-old toddler was shot in the stomach after gaining access to a gun while in a car with multiple individuals. Four people, including the child’s mother, were charged with felony child abuse and firearm-related offenses in Beaufort County, N.C.
