STAT+: Amylyx nears pivotal endocrine drug study readout
Amylyx Pharmaceuticals will release results this quarter from a pivotal study of avexitide, a drug targeting severe, uncontrolled drops in blood sugar after stomach-reducing weight-loss surgery. The company previously voluntarily withdrew an ALS drug after a follow-on study showed it lacked efficacy.
