US Mint produces a $1 coin bearing Trump's face to help celebrate America’s 250th birthday

The U.S. Mint has started producing a $1 coin featuring President Donald Trump's image to commemorate America’s 250th birthday. The coin, with a gold finish but not made of gold, was approved by the Trump-appointed U.S. Commission of Fine Arts and faces criticism for violating federal law prohibiting living presidents on currency. The Treasury Department also announced Trump's signature will appear on new U.S. paper currency.
