Suspected gunman taken into custody after standoff with ESU officers in Glendale: NYPD

A suspected gunman was taken into custody after barricading himself in his Glendale apartment during a routine parole officer visit. ESU officers and NYPD Aviation responded to the standoff, which occurred after the suspect slammed the door shut and officers heard what they believed to be a firearm being racked.
