Navy awards TOTE $2.2 billion to manage Medium Landing Ships project

The Navy awarded TOTE Services LLC a $2.2 billion contract to manage the Medium Landing Ships (LSMs) project, which aims to build up to eight vessels for the Marine Corps. The ships, designed for Indo-Pacific operations, will be constructed by Bollinger Shipyards and Fincantieri Marinette Marine, with the first delivery expected in 2029. The project is part of President Donald Trump’s 'Golden Fleet' initiative to modernize the Navy.
