UK/Netherlands navies partnership with eight next-generation amphibious transport ships
The UK and the Netherlands have agreed to a £2.4bn joint procurement program to acquire eight next-generation amphibious transport ships. The vessels will be built in the UK to a Dutch design, with four ships allocated to each country.
