Crash of a helicopter helping to fight a Colorado wildfire leaves the pilot dead

A helicopter assisting in fighting the Gold Mountain Fire in Colorado crashed into Silver Jack Reservoir, killing the pilot. The Federal Aviation Administration reported the Kaman Aerospace K-1200 helicopter crashed under unknown circumstances, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
