Pilot fighting Colorado wildfire dies as plane crashes into reservoir

A pilot assisting in fighting the Gold Mountain fire in Colorado died after their plane crashed into Silver Jack reservoir. The Gunnison county sheriff’s office confirmed the crash occurred in the south-western portion of the county.
