UK says an Iran-backed group was behind attacks on Jewish community, bans Revolutionary Guard

The UK government accused an Iran-backed group, the Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right (IMCR), of orchestrating arson and vandalism attacks on Jewish sites in Britain. It banned IMCR and Iran's Revolutionary Guard, citing national security threats, and announced legislation to penalize sabotage with up to life imprisonment. The UK also designated a Russian GRU-linked group as a security threat.
