Breast cancer survivor turns forgotten path into neighborhood gathering space

Karen Jenkins, a breast cancer survivor, transformed a forgotten Anchorage neighborhood easement into a vibrant walkway with flowers, butterflies, and a blue fence. The space became a community gathering spot for families and children to engage in creative activities, fostering connection and positivity during her cancer journey.
