Restraining access of minors to online porn is of paramount public importance: SC

The Supreme Court has converted a public interest litigation (PIL) into a representation to the government to frame a national policy restricting minors' access to online pornography. The court acknowledged the petitioners' argument that the Information Technology Act, 2000 does not penalize viewing pornography, only its production and distribution.
