Typhoon Bavi weakens but still brings strong winds and rain to China
Typhoon Bavi weakened to a tropical storm after making landfall in Zhejiang province, China, but continued to bring strong winds and heavy rain to eastern and northeastern regions. Evacuations affected over 2.2 million people in Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Fujian, while damage included uprooted trees and flight cancellations in Shanghai.
