Mother surrenders newborn to staff at hospital in Indiana using Safe Haven Baby Box
A mother in Indiana surrendered her newborn using a Safe Haven Baby Box at Marion General Hospital in June. The baby is now under the care of the Indiana Department of Child Services for adoption. The Safe Haven Baby Boxes organization, founded in 2017, has facilitated over 200 safe surrenders through its program and hotline.
