‘Unknown’ amount of people seriously hurt in east Charlotte assault, police say

An unknown number of people were seriously injured in a reported assault with a deadly weapon in east Charlotte near Independence Boulevard. Victims self-transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and police are seeking witnesses or information.
