Man accused of kidnapping teen waiting for bus in Hamtramck pleads guilty
A 48-year-old man accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl while she waited for a school bus in Hamtramck pleaded guilty to kidnapping and multiple firearm-related charges. The incident occurred in April when the suspect, Donald James Joseph Arthur Fields, allegedly forced the teen into his van before being arrested at a Detroit gas station after she signaled for help. Fields will be sentenced on August 20.
