Zebra, emu and alpaca among 60 animals confiscated from home

Nebraska officials confiscated 60 animals, including a zebra, emu, and alpaca, from a home where they were found in deplorable conditions. The Nebraska Humane Society, which executed a search warrant, reported most animals appeared medically stable but some were emaciated or required immediate care. Pending charges and legal action are expected under state and city regulations prohibiting unauthorized wild animal possession.
