Hundreds of animals rescued from 'appalling' conditions at Southern California sanctuary

A massive rescue operation is underway at Villa Chardonnay Sanctuary in Julian, San Diego County, where over 550 animals were found living in dangerous conditions. Officials served a search warrant on May 1. Many animals are being rescued from the sanctuary.
