Former DPD officer-in-training charged with reckless driving in fatal pedestrian crash
A former Detroit Police Department probationary officer was charged with reckless driving causing death after fatally striking a 33-year-old man in February. The 19-year-old, Keyshawn Elijah James Rucker, cooperated with authorities and was released on a $50,000 bond, with a court date scheduled for July 15.
