Ecuador's prosecutors requested six years and six months in prison for Lenín Moreno, his wife Rocío González, his daughter Irina, and Cai Runguo, then China’s ambassador to Ecuador, in a $76 million bribe case. The request was made on July 8 during the 29th day of the trial.
