Canada's getting its first Meta data center, and it's built for AI
Meta is building its first AI-optimized data center in Alberta, Canada, with a $9 billion investment and 300 operational jobs. The 1-gigawatt facility will be Meta's 33rd globally and includes a $42 million commitment to local infrastructure improvements.
