Fires Burn Nearly 2,000 Hectares of Protected Askania-Nova Reserve in Occupied Kherson Region

Russian-occupied forces have caused two fires that burned nearly 2,000 hectares of the Askania-Nova Biosphere Reserve in the occupied Kherson Region. The fires destroyed rare steppe habitats and endangered plant species, with the reserve attributing the damage to the military presence of occupying troops.
