17-year-old volunteer firefighter in ICU after head-on crash

A 17-year-old volunteer firefighter, Riggin Bliss, is recovering in the ICU after a head-on collision on Lewis River Road in Ariel, Washington. His brother, Charlie Silvis, a fellow volunteer firefighter, assisted him at the scene. The other driver, 76-year-old John Jessup, was charged with vehicular assault and is believed to have been impaired.
