Four independents join Aleem Khan’s Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party in Gilgit-Baltistan

Four independent candidates elected in Gilgit-Baltistan joined Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) after meeting with party president Abdul Aleem Khan. The IPP, which fielded 16 candidates in the recent elections without winning any seats, now has four assembly members who could influence government formation. PPP and PML-N are negotiating government formation, with PPP holding 11 seats and PML-N six.
