US-Iran deal signing scheduled for Friday in Switzerland
The US and Iran are scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding on Friday at the Burgenstock resort in central Switzerland. The Swiss foreign ministry confirmed the arrangement, noting the location was proposed by Pakistani and Qatari mediators as well as the US and Iran. The resort previously hosted a Ukraine peace summit in June 2024.
