US and Iran inch closer to signing deal to reopen Strait of Hormuz
The US and Iran may sign an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz during the upcoming G7 summit in Evian, France. A senior Iranian official suggested a deal is likely, according to G7 and external diplomats. The summit will take place from June 15 to June 17, with Geneva, Switzerland, also being considered as a location.
