Motorsport new battleground for Chinese carmakers as Geely and BYD rev up global drive
Geely Auto, China’s second-largest carmaker, aims to host the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) in China through a partnership with ZXMOTO, seeking to enhance its global image as a tech-driven brand. Billionaire Li Shufu and Zhang Xue, owner of ZXMOTO, agreed to jointly promote China’s bid to host the WSBK.
