Australian PM calls for 'transparent inquiry' into killing of girl by CCD in Punjab’s Chakwal

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called for a transparent inquiry into the shooting of Hania Ahmad, a 9-year-old Australian national killed by Punjab Crime Control Department (CCD) personnel in Pakistan. The CCD mistook the family's vehicle for that of robbers, resulting in Hania's death and injuries to her father and brother. An official from the CCD has been arrested for murder and injury.
