Ford recalls more than 250,000 Focus models because of engine stalling issue
Ford is recalling 255,404 Ford Focus vehicles from model years 2012-2018 due to a malfunctioning canister purge valve that may cause engine stalling while driving, increasing crash risk. Dealers will address the issue with a free powertrain software update, with owner notifications starting July 6.
