Ford recalls more than 250,000 Focus models because engines can stall unexpectedly
Ford is recalling 255,404 Ford Focus models from 2012-2018 due to a canister purge valve malfunction that could cause unexpected engine stalling. Dealers will provide a free powertrain software update to address the issue, with owner notifications starting July 6.
