Oversight Commission Takes Up New Police-Technology Review Process on Drones, AI Report Writing
Pasadena’s civilian police oversight commission is set to vote on a framework to review new police technologies before adoption, including traffic-reconstruction drones, AI-assisted report writing, and energy-assisted breaching tools. The framework will be considered for permanent adoption as part of the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Work Plan.
