Digital sovereignty isn’t the same thing as digital isolation. Asia’s governments should be careful

However, such measures risk creating security vulnerabilities and hindering regional digital trade agreements like ASEAN’s DEFA, which aims to boost the digital economy to $2 trillion by 2030.
