Inside Australia’s first major new airport in more than 50 years

Sydney’s new A$5.6 billion airport, the first major new airport in Australia in over 50 years, will open in October after more than a decade of planning. It aims to provide red-eye flight options as the existing airport faces night curfew restrictions limiting operations to 6am-11pm.
