Moor’s Brewing Hosts Emancipation Ball As Black-Owned Brewery Eyes Growth And Permanent Home

Moor’s Brewing Co., a Black-owned brewery, is hosting its fifth annual Emancipation Ball on Juneteenth eve to celebrate growth and its Care Moor Foundation. The event features Erykah Badu, Black-owned food vendors, and open bars with Black-owned beverages. The brewery, co-founded by Jamhal Johnson, Damon Patton, and Anthony Bell, seeks a permanent location after a previous partnership ended and distributes beers contract-brewed in the U.S. and New York.
